Massive Winter Storm Incoming
New pages of the guide...
A massive winter storm is sweeping through the U.S. now, bringing ice and snow to nearly 200 million Americans as far south as Texas. Meanwhile, Trump edges closer to the conquest of Greenland, and billionaires openly court human extinction, pontificating on their willingness to "sacrifice" us all in order to birth an AI that goes on to build robot utopias and colonize space, while our ashes remain here.
Fun stuff!
As promised, I'm working on sanitation. It's another key element of survival. Without it, we won't last long. I'll be drafting material on outhouses, latrines, and longer term situations. For now, especially given the immediate risk of burst pipes, I've posted a short guide to making an emergency dry toilet. It's a simple enough design, something you can set up and take down. You can do it with a bucket, or a portable toilet with a higher seat. It solves a problem a few people have raised, about needing an option for those of us who can't install a full composting toilet.
I've added those pages to the full guide:
I've also written up a quick guide to cold weather gear. While everyone else in the south is panic-buying milk and bread, you can get some items to stay warm in case the power goes out, which is looking like a good bet. Please feel free to leave feedback and/or share your own winter storm preps for the rest of us.
That's all for now.
