We're Almost There

I'm illustrating the food growing guide. Several people have already shared some of their techniques for growing in smaller spaces like apartments. I hope it keeps coming. Meanwhile, I had to develop a different rendering process to make planting and moving dirt look good, and it led to some other improvements. It feels like the illustrations have really got their own personality. I won't share every page again, but here's a few snapshots of what things look like now:

You can see more here. The illustration quality felt like an important thing to nail down a little harder. I've got all the plants ready, raised beds, cold frames, low tunnels, and I'm setting up a drip irrigation system. I'm also starting to set up an apartment homestead. It was moving slowly at first, but it's coming together.
